Omega Welcomes Damon Haley to the Team
Mr. Haley has over 50 years of experience in auditing, engineering, and materials assignments of increasing responsibility. He is an NQA-1 Auditor & Quality Assurance Engineer for SRNS NNSA Capital Projects. He was the CGD Lead for SRR for four years. He spent four years performing assessments and developing engineering programs and processes for WRPS and WTP and was the Project Manager for the EFCOG CGD Handbook Task. Mr. Haley also has fifteen years of experience as a manager for engineering services including Commercial Grade Dedication (CGD) and Configuration Management at DOE nuclear sites. This experience consisted of program start-up and reconstitution of facility configuration.
He has thirteen years of experience as a project engineer for environmental cleanup projects, nuclear facility modification projects, national laboratory projects, and DOE infrastructure projects that involved architectural, fire protection, and safeguards & security engineering in addition to the basic engineering disciplines. He was responsible for ARRA-funded projects and projects associated with the removal and processing of radioactive liquid waste from storage tanks. In addition, Mr. Haley has ten years in operations engineering for new facilities and new nuclear products and five years in electrical materials supervision and procurement of material for nuclear applications including commercial grade dedication.
Mr. Haley received his MBA in Business Management from Golden Gate University in 1983. He received his B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1975. He is a Certified Manager from Institute of Certified Professional Managers and holds his Configuration Management II Certification from the Institute of Configuration Management.
