Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)

Omega Technical Services is an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, age, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth and pregnancy-related conditions), military service and veteran status, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local laws and ordinances. Omega Technical Services’ management team is dedicated to this policy with respect to all areas of employment, including recruitment, hiring, placement, promotion, transfer, demotion, layoff, recall, termination, leaves of absence, training, compensation, benefits, employee activities, employment advertisements, access to facilities and programs and general treatment during employment. For more information about your equal employment opportunity rights, please view the Know Your Rights Poster (English or Spanish).

An employee with questions or concerns about equal employment opportunities in the workplace, who believes he/she has not been afforded fair and objective treatment under this policy, or who believes he/she has witnessed discrimination, should promptly report the matter to the Human Resources (HR) Department by dialing 1-865-272-3371. The company will promptly investigate all complaints and take appropriate remedial action, depending on the results of the investigation and the particular circumstances in the case. An employee will not be penalized or retaliated against for making a complaint or a report of a matter that he/she believes is in violation of this policy. If an employee feels he/she has been subjected to any such retaliation, he/she should promptly contact the HR Department. Violations of this policy may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Reasonable Accommodations and Interactive Dialogue

Omega will endeavor to make a reasonable accommodation for an otherwise qualified applicant or employee related to the individual’s physical or mental disability; sincerely held religious beliefs and practices; pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions; and/or any other reason required by applicable law, unless doing so would impose an undue hardship upon the company’s business operations.

Any applicant or employee who believes he or she needs a reasonable accommodation in order to perform the essential functions of the job should contact the HR Department, at hr@omegatechserv.com, to request such an accommodation. Accommodation requests should be submitted in writing. The individual should specify in detail what reasonable accommodation is needed to perform the job and, where necessary, submit supporting documentation. After receiving a request for accommodation, Omega will review and analyze the need for a reasonable accommodation, including engaging in an interactive process with the employee or applicant, to identify if such an accommodation is necessary and can be made, and whether other potential accommodations may exist.
