Mr. Emms has spent his career working as a Research Technologist/Tech and sheet metal worker for the past 42 years. In January of 1994, he went on a two-week callout from the Sheet Metal Union to work at LANL which lasted until the end of September of 2022. During that time,  Mr. Emms has gained 28 years of total experience working at LANL’s PF-4 as a Research Technologist/Tech and sheet metal worker. For the last 21 of those years, he was a LANL employee working on the ARIES mission with the 3013 containers and equipment installations. Mr. Emms also has 26 years of experience with helium leak testing and 24 years as an NDT level II in leak testing for LANL. Since retiring in 2022, Curtis has been working as a Guest Scientist at LANL.
