Omega Asked to Attend Nuclear Science and Energy Pilot Program

Omega is grateful to Roane State Community College (RSCC) for the opportunity to participate in their Nuclear Science and Energy Pilot Program. Our team members, David Rose and Haley Trapuzzano, had the exciting opportunity to attend this course, which provided a strong foundation in nuclear science—from the history of the Manhattan Project to critical topics like radiation safety, the nuclear fuel cycle, and non-proliferation.
The program offered a balanced mix of classroom instruction and hands-on lab experience, including practical training with gloveboxes. It also provided valuable insights into career paths within the nuclear industry, making it an excellent resource for both new and experienced professionals.
