Brian Brown

Director of Programs, East

Brian serves as Omega’s Director of Programs, East – a role that focuses on providing onsite leadership and management for Omega’s regional office in Aiken, SC ensuring efficient and effective operations. He is responsible for managing key client accounts and overseeing projects that drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Prior to his current role, Brian supported a few Department of Energy and Department of Defense sites focusing on nuclear operations, energetics/weapons manufacturing, high-hazard operations, and airspace operations.

Brian retired from the U.S. Army and specialized in airfield and facility management, air traffic control, recruit sustainment, and international collaboration. Some of Brian’s favorite assignments were serving as First Sergeant for New Mexico’s U.S. Border Patrol support and Drill Sergeant Units, serving as Air Traffic Control Chief in Kuwait/Afghanistan, and jumping out of perfectly good airplanes as a paratrooper.

A recent career highlight is Brian’s tenure with Savannah River National Laboratory supporting the Global Security Directorate, where he served as the Program Manager for the Mobile Melt Consolidate (MMC) Program.

Brian earned both his undergraduate degree and Master of Science (Organizational Leadership) from Columbia Southern University.

Brian enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his children in their sports endeavors, playing basketball, and working outside.
