Omega is a SDVOSB incorporated in the state of South Carolina in 1995. The founder, majority owner and President of Omega, Mr. Tim Trapuzzano, previously served in the U.S. Navy as a reactor operator and engineering watch supervisor onboard a fast attack submarine. Since leaving the service in 1989, he has worked throughout the NNSA’s NSE. Mr. Trapuzzano earned his B.S. in Nuclear Science at the University of Maryland in 1998 while attending night school. He currently consults for the National Nuclear Security Administration as a Program Manager for the Surplus Plutonium Disposition (SPD) Program and the Savannah River Pit Production Facility (SRPPF) in support of NSE modernization. Mr. Trapuzzano has demonstrated program management experience by completing contracts issued by the:

  • U.S. Department of Defense (DOD)
  • U.S. Department of Homeland Security
  • Commercial clients

Mr. Trapuzzano is experienced in overseeing all aspects of program/project execution, including:

Omega has a proven record of accomplishment providing professional and technical services for various federal sites, including Y-12, Portsmouth, Nevada National Security Site, Savannah River Site, Hanford, Rocky Flats, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Idaho National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, East Tennessee Technology Park, and others. Our personnel are instrumental in ensuring safe and compliant facility operations in the nation’s most unique facilities. We continue to function in subcontract line management roles, as well as consult daily operational issues.
