Omega Technical Services Provides Wreaths to Oak Grove Cemetery to Honor Veterans
OAK RIDGE, Tenn., May 27, 2022 — In honor of Memorial Day, Omega Technical Services, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), has partnered with American Legion Post 50 to provide 600 wreaths for veteran graves at Oak Grove Cemetery.
As Oak Grove Cemetery is the final resting place for approximately 1,100 veterans, this symbolic wreath placement will help remind of the sacrifice military service members and their families gave to this country.
“Thank you to veterans and their families nationwide for your sacrifice, especially to those who gave all. I am honored to help the American Legion Post 50 achieve a milestone in placing wreaths upon every Roane County veteran grave, and I encourage everyone to continue to find ways to honor veterans past Memorial Day,” says Omega Technical Services President Tim Trapuzzano.
With Omega Technical Service’s dynamic and increasing support to the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and Environmental Management (EM) missions of protecting the American people by maintaining a safe, secure and effective nuclear weapons stockpile through nuclear nonproliferation advancement, global nuclear threat reduction and associated cleanup, such philanthropic efforts have been made doable this military appreciation month. However, as the company is experiencing rapid growth and vast industry integration, continued philanthropic efforts are planned.
The public is invited to attend Oak Grove Cemetery’s Memorial Day Ceremony starting at 11:00 a.m. on May 30, 2022. Oak Grove Cemetery is located at 212 W. Rockwood St. in Rockwood, Tennessee 37854.
