Bill Tindal most recently served as the president and chief executive officer for Consolidated Nuclear Security, LLC, the management and operating contractor for the Pantex Plant in Amarillo, Texas, and the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The sites are staffed at more than 10,000 personnel and have a budget exceeding $2.5B. Tindal has more than 30 years of leadership and operational experience in highly hazardous nuclear facility operations. As Chief Operating Officer, Bill worked with leaders from Pantex and Y-12 to focus on internal operations, detecting and responding to financial trends, and improving working relationships with nuclear weapon design agencies.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in engineering management from the University of Tennessee.
In his spare time, Bill enjoys sampling macaroni salad and spending time with his young grandchildren.
