Cindy Light is from the Knoxville, Tennessee area and has earned her thesis-level master’s degree in human resources development from the University of Tennessee. Before moving to Tennessee, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in English Education from her native alma mature, Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Cindy holds SPHR® and ACC®-ICF Coach credentialing and is a graduate of Leadership Oak Ridge. Prior to joining Omega, Cindy’s employment and consulting experience includes 25 years as a career Human Resources professional designing talent acquisition and retention strategies, policy administration, and corporate EEO/OFCCP compliance. Cindy has worked for Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Canadian Nuclear Laboratory, Atkins Global Nuclear Secured, Centrus Energy, Alcoa Aluminum, US Foodservice, and Carlex Glass in the areas of nuclear energy, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, and automotive.
