Mr. Trapuzzano has served as Omega’s President since its inception in 1995. With a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Science from the University of Maryland and served in the U.S. Navy, he is qualified to have held key management positions in Hazard Category 1,2, and 3 nuclear facilities throughout the DOE/NNSA Nuclear Weapons Complex (NWC) as the following titles: Operations Manager, Operations Support Manager, Readiness Manager, Technical Engineering Manager, Project Manager and Program Manager. He also consults throughout the DOE NWC as a Senior Nuclear Operations Advisor. Since 2016, Mr. Trappuzzano has served as the Integration Manager for the Dilute & Dispose Approach to disposition of 34 MT of excess pit and non-pit plutonium and has worked closely with the Pantex Plant, LANL, SRS and the WIPP site to develop a $20B life cycle cost estimate for the Dilute and Dispose program. He looks forward to seeing the integration Omega brings to the DOE NNSA NWC for years to come.
