Omega Technical Services Celebrates 30th Anniversary

Thirty years ago, I started Omega Technical Services after serving as a nuclear Navy submariner and obtaining initial experience in the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) nuclear weapons enterprise. The training and experience I obtained in the service prepared me to be a problem solver in support of some of the most complex, hazardous, and aged facilities in the world. It has been an amazing career journey, and I wanted to take this opportunity to point out where we are today and where we see ourselves in the future. Omega’s business growth has truly been a blessing, and we’ve spent the last couple of years “scaling up” up our business infrastructure and personnel strength to prepare for the next steps. We’ve hired top talent, invested in technology and business systems, and prioritized our strategic goals. This has been challenging since it’s necessary to improve in these areas while seamlessly continuing to provide outstanding service to our employees and customers. In the near future, we intend to establish a presence at all other NNSA production sites, bolster our engagement with industry partners, and diversify into new industry areas with a nuclear nexus for long-term growth. Colleen and I are extremely happy to have celebrated Omega’s 30th Anniversary in February 2025. We are truly grateful to all our colleagues, employees, and customers that we have had the pleasure of working with for over three decades. Omega’s continued success comes from the dedication of our corporate family, our technical experts working throughout the enterprise, and the great professionals that we serve at NNSA.
